My client is a regional developer/contractor who are looking for a Lead Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Merseyside.
They specialise in new build apartment projects valued up to £50million and are looking to take on an experienced freelance Quantity Surveyor to be the commercial lead on their projects.
Role and responsibilities:
* To give a price on all works in line with current market conditions
* Cost valuation reporting
* To improve where possible company profits
* Analyse progress and write detailed reports
* To manage target costs
* To prepare cost reconciliation for the director
* To undertake site visits in preparation of all tenders and take photographs
* Risk management
* Attending/ leading project and commercial meetings
* Contract management
