Connect Legal are currently recruiting for our client based in Liverpool city centre, they are seeking an experienced Fee Earner/Paralegal to join the growing team.

You will deal with a case load of Housing Disrepair claims to ensure that all claims are up to date and progressed in the correct time frame

Be familiar with the Civil procedures rules and the relevant pre action protocols

To ensure that cases are dealt with via the courts in an efficient and competent fashion

To ensure that settlements are achieved in a timely and efficient manner

Job Overview

You will ideally have at least 12 months' experience of working on housing disrepair cases with strong knowledge of the housing disrepair protocol.

Discuss potential claims and provide an initial screening review on the telephone in-line with the agreed criteria for new cases

To review incoming information and establish a possible claim route
