A SEN Teaching Assistant job working within key stage 2 in Liverpool.

This Liverpool based primary school are looking for a lower KS2 special educational needs 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This school prides itself in it's community presence and maintaining an enjoyable, friendly and encouraging place to work.

This Teaching Assistant position will run for the rest of the academic year and likely into next year too. The role will be working 1:1 with a child with ASD who can display challenging behaviour. This child would respond best to someone who can empathise and really be a strong role model, with a pragmatic and fair nature. Who can get on a level with the child, identify triggers and deescalate situations calmly and rationally.
