A SEN Teaching Assistant job in a Liverpool based primary school within lower KS2.

This Liverpool based primary school are looking for a lower KS2 special educational needs 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This three-form entry primary school has a strong presence in the community and has a very stable and loyal staff base due to it's open and welcoming atmosphere and great relationship between the SLT and the wider staff base.

This Teaching Assistant position will run for the rest of the academic year and likely into next year too. The role will be working 1:1 with a child who has complex needs. This child is non-verbal and has been diagnosed with ASD. This child enjoys sensory activities and would respond best to someone who is patient and understanding.
