A behavioural specialist Teaching Assistant job working 1:1 with a child in a Liverpool based primary school.

This Liverpool based primary school are looking for a lower KS2 special educational needs 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This school prides itself in it's community presence and maintaining an enjoyable, friendly and encouraging place to work. Working hours will be between 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday.

This Teaching Assistant position will run for the rest of the academic year and likely into next year too. The role will be working 1:1 with a child with ASD who can display challenging behaviour. This child would respond best to someone who can empathise and really be a strong role model, with a pragmatic and fair nature. Who can get on a level with the child, identify triggers and deescalate situations calmly and rationally.
